The Challenge
Luwand, a luxury women’s bag brand, needed a visual identity that matched its commitment to timeless elegance and refined craftsmanship. The objective was to design a mark that would immediately convey sophistication, exclusivity, and quiet confidence, ensuring the brand stood out as a premium player in the high-fashion market.
The Strategy
To align with luxury fashion codes, the strategy focused on minimalism, fluid lines, and structural grace. Rather than relying on rigid, standard typography, we opted for an identity that mimics the fine artistry of bespoke tailoring and high-end craftsmanship—feeling personal, elite, and structurally intentional.
The Solution
1. The Logo & Monogram
The centerpiece of the identity is an avant-garde, continuous-line monogram that seamlessly merges into the brand name.
The Mark: Features a sweeping, abstract geometric flourish that echoes the structured angles and silhouettes of premium leather goods.
The Script: The logo beautifully transitions into a delicate, elegant script for “luwand”, evoking the look of a designer’s personal signature or an artisan’s stamp of authenticity.
2. Typography & Application
Typography: A fluid, custom-drawn script that balances sharp structural lines with soft, flowing terminal curves, giving it a sophisticated, haute-couture rhythm.
Execution: Designed specifically for versatility in luxury manufacturing, the logo carries a distinct presence whether seamlessly debossed directly into fine leather, engraved on custom hardware, or printed on minimal packaging.
3. The Color Palette
Royal Plum / Deep Violet: A regal, sophisticated primary hue that represents luxury, depth, and creative confidence, offering a distinct alternative to standard black or beige fashion branding.
Muted Rose Gold / Blush: A soft, neutral secondary tone used for background elements and packaging to add warmth and premium contrast.
The Outcome
The final visual system gives Luwand a timeless, high-fashion presence. By blending sharp geometric angles with fluid handwriting, the identity captures the essence of refined luxury—establishing Luwand as a confident, exclusive brand built for the modern woman of style.
